Terms & Conditions

Meet & Greet
We will visit your home to introduce ourselves to your pet gradually. If there
are any signs of aggression (e.g., showing teeth, growling, snapping,
biting), the Meet & Greet will be terminated, and further services will be
denied. If your pet passes the initial introduction, the Meet & Greet will
continue to assess food aggression, play habits, personality, crate training,
and other relevant behaviors. Additionally, we will take your dog on a short
walk to evaluate leash behavior. Please note that larger dogs with poor
leash manners, such as pulling or biting the leash, may have limited
services available. Following the Meet & Greet, you will receive an email
with feedback and a list of services available for your selection.

Property Access
Clients are required to provide an emergency key to their home, as well as
any relevant garage codes, gate codes, or keypad entry codes. The
emergency key will be securely stored and used only in emergencies. If no
services are booked for two years, we reserve the right to destroy the key.
Clients must notify us of any changes to codes or keys and provide
updated access information. It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure
that staff can safely access the property (e.g., clear driveways of ice, avoid
placing lockboxes in muddy areas, etc.).

Payments
We reserve the right to retain a working credit card on file in case of
payment issues. Charges may be automatically processed, or clients may
opt to make payments online. New clients are required to pay in full before
services are rendered, while existing clients must pay in full upon service
completion.

Cancellation Policy
Clients must notify us at least 24 hours in advance if they need to
reschedule or cancel a service. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result
in a 50% charge, while cancellations made less than one hour before the
service will incur a 100% charge.

Inclement Weather
Non-essential services may be canceled due to inclement weather. If you
choose to cancel due to weather, please provide as much notice as
possible. In severe weather cases, cancellation charges may be waived.
Should we cancel your service due to weather, a staff member will contact
you immediately, and we will reschedule your service at the earliest
opportunity. If necessary, a staff member can stay in your home during
inclement weather at a rate of $275 per day.

Cameras
Please inform us if you have cameras installed inside or outside your
home, including which cameras are active. Sharing footage of our staff
without prior permission is prohibited. Buddies Walks retains full ownership
of any footage featuring our staff.

Emergency Contact
At the conclusion of the Meet & Greet, clients are required to complete an
emergency form. This form must include active credit card information,
medical information for the dog, current medications, and an emergency
contact. Services will not continue if this information is not provided and
kept up to date. Required medical information includes the dog’s primary
care veterinarian and the nearest emergency vet. The emergency contact
must be someone other than the client and must be available and nearby
during the service to retrieve the dog if necessary.

Additional Information
The prices listed for services are general estimates and may vary based on
factors such as location, specific needs of your dog, and other
considerations.
After each service, you will receive a detailed report card either in physical
form or via text message. The report card will include behavior
assessments and any additional notes or observations from the service.

Liability Waiver
By using our services, you agree to release and hold Buddies Walks
harmless from any liability, including but not limited to injury, illness, or
damage caused by your pet during or after our services. Buddies Walks will
take all reasonable precautions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being,
but we cannot be held responsible for situations beyond our control.

Vaccination and Health Requirements
All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and free from contagious
illnesses. Proof of vaccination may be required before services are
provided. It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any health conditions
that may affect the safety or well-being of your pet or our staff.

Termination of Services
Buddies Walks reserves the right to terminate services at any time if the
pet’s behavior or the client’s actions make it unsafe to continue. In such
cases, any unused portion of pre-paid services will be refunded.

Pet Owner’s Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information
about their pet’s behavior, health, and any special needs. Failure to do so
may result in the termination of services and forfeiture of any prepaid fees.

Privacy Policy
Your personal information, including contact details and any information
related to your pet, will be kept confidential and will only be used to provide
our services. We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
